Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce has information about the city's economy, industry, schools, parks & government.

Warrensburg is the home of University of Central Missouri (formerly Central Missouri State University), a school with about 12,000 students and a major factor in Warrensburg's economy, culture and traffic. The UCM website tells all about the University and its activities.

Warrensburg's historical areas include an 1840's 'old' courthouse/museum where the Old Drum trial was held. This museum is operated by the Johnson County Historical Society. Other sites include the 'new' couthouse which celebrated its centennial 1996-1998, a National Register 1920s gas station, and of course, Cedarcroft Farm. Warrensburg also has a dirt-track stock car racing facility, some interesting antique/flea malls and some nice parks, including the brand new Blind Boone Park, honoring an African-American musical pioneer.
